Outside

by The Silver State

Outside was recorded in an abandoned dental laboratory in Las Vegas and released on Tacky Records in 2014. Written, produced, and recorded by Caleb, the songs were created long distance between New York and Nevada, where longtime friends and band members Taylor Milne (guitar) and Alex Stopa (drums) live. This is The Silver State's second full-length release.

Stereogum: “quiet psych act specializing in dreamy vast-landscape folk-rock.”

Cut and Run

by The Silver State

Cut and Run was recorded by Caleb and the band at Queensize Studios in Indianapolis. It was released on Young American Recordings in 2008.

Allmusic: “With the deliberate unraveling of Neil Young, the off-kilter, obtuse poetry of Pavement, and the lush insistence of Arcade Fire, the music of the Silver State plays like the most adamant lullaby, creeping in quietly, but subtly vibrant enough to command attention.”

Various Selections

by Hologram

Hologram was an indie-rock trio from Brooklyn, NY, active between 2008 and 2011, and comprised of Caroline Potter, Ryan Trott and Caleb Lindskoog. They came onto the scene during a surge of DIY “bedroom” recording artists, lo-fi and garage rock bands. While recording and mixing their songs, Caleb carved a specific sonic place within this broader genre for the band to stand out in their sound. In studio and on stage, the three members would also often switch instruments. All of Hologram’s music (save their last EP) was recorded, mixed and mastered by Caleb. Some of those songs are featured here.
